Accessibility

RezSoulution is built so everyone in our communities can use it, including elders, people who use screen readers, and people who navigate with a keyboard or switch device.

Our goal

We design and test to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've done

  1. Body text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for people with low vision.
  2. Text and buttons meet contrast requirements in both the light and dark looks.
  3. Every page has a "Skip to content" link, and every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  4. Forms have labels, clear error messages, and help text.
  5. Pages work when zoomed to 400% and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels, without sideways scrolling.
  6. Animations are reduced for people who turn on "reduce motion" in their device settings.
  7. We test with automated tools (axe) on desktop, phone, the admin portal, and member pages, and fix what they find.

Known limits

Content added by nations, such as photos, videos, and documents, depends on each nation adding descriptions and captions. We prompt staff to do this. Some third-party pieces, like video players and payment pages, are managed by their providers.

Tell us about a problem

If anything on RezSoulution is hard to use, please contact support and tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within one business day and to fix accessibility problems quickly.
